The very least I can do.

You do much more than that.  I’m incredibly lucky to have you.  <3

You’re going to get me all misty-eyed. And on a Tuesday night! You’re amazing too, you know.

I try to be.  You make me believe that I am.  <3

Blaine… I’ll always be proud of you. <3

I know you will.  And the same goes for me, you know.  You’re amazing, Kurt.

We’re fortunate enough to be in love at a time in history where we CAN get married. Others like us haven’t been so lucky. Just another reason why we wanted to now.

Yes, exactly - another good point.  :)

Tell us 3 things you're really proud of about yourself and 3 about your husband.

Oh boy.  Uhm, okay - here we go!

For myself:

  • I’m proud of how far I’ve come playing piano.  Like I told Tina the other day, at the end of the last school year, my professor asked if this year I’d want to work with this sort of… community outreach program that they’ve got going teaching lessons to people.  Students can take them too, just they don’t count as class credits.  But they said that kids and older people take them too - anyway, I’m quite excited about them!  And I’m proud that I’ve stuck with piano long enough to reach a level that someone thinks I could teach someone else.
  • I’m proud that we, in a year, planned and pulled off a beautiful wedding ceremony that was everything we could’ve dreamed it to be.  Does that count?  It was pretty stressful at times, so I’m just really, really happy with how it all came together.
  • I’m proud of the relationships I’ve rebuilt with my mother and my brother.  I’m infinitely glad and grateful to have them in my life again.

For Kurt:

  • I’m proud of what an amazing Jack he was in Into the Woods.  Kurt so naturally fits on the stage, and he was fantastic in that role.  I love watching him perform, and that was no exception.
  • I’m proud of what he did to try to help that guy being attacked a while back.  It terrified me, I’m not going to lie - seeing him come home like that is the scariest thing that’s happened to me in a long time, but… I’m so proud of him for trying (and succeeding) to help.  Both of us know what it feels like to suffer silently, to feel like nobody is going to reach out and help you, through stuff like that, and I’m glad that he was able to stop at least one person’s awful instance.
  • I’m really proud of how comfortable he is with himself now.  Not that he disliked himself in the past or anything, but just… he has a wonderful air of confidence about him now.  It’s wonderful to see and is honestly very inspiring - that he stays so true to himself no matter what the world may throw at him.  He’s just… amazing.
